Swedish massage is the traditional massage technique used by RMTs. Typically, a lotion is applied directly to the skin, followed by soothing gliding and kneading strokes to decrease muscle stiffness, improve circulation and promote relaxation. A tension-relieving balm and warm hydrotherapy are also part of the Metta experience.
